About the Artist
Hi there, I'm Daisy Malchevsky of Fable Studio. I like to think of my work as functional art, often falling back on bandanas as my go-to canvas. Something you can wear and hold and even covet.
Using botanicals to dye my fabrics, each is pigmented with indigo blues, marigolds, madder root reds, and so on. I, then relief print with one of my carved stamps, allowing for each piece to be one-of-a-kind.
I focus on designs that are drawn from nature, the wild west, fables and magic- blending art and storytelling, with sustainable practices.
When not making art, I work as a Veterinary Technician where I'm continually inspired by critters on a daily basis.
